La Casa de la Fuente Viviendas Tuteladas: Purpose and Objectives of the Centre
Clientele
La Casa de la Fuente is designed to provide sheltered semi-communal living for persons who are partially self sufficient and do not require full institutional care. We welcome the involvement of residents' families in helping us to maintain a friendly, secure environment within which their relatives can maintain independence while enjoying their desired level of social integration. Resident Profile
Residents will be retired persons able to perform, without assistance, such normal daily activities as bathing, dressing and eating. They must be free from communicable diseases and from psychological and behavioural traits which might affect their ability to coexist peacefully with other residents.
Required Documentation
Applicants must submit:
a) The completed Appilcation Form
b) A copy of the photo page of their passport or equivalent.
c) A recent health certificate from their usual registered medical practitioner.
d) A report from the Social Services authority in Spain or their native country (if requested).
e) Proof of ability to pay the residential fees.
Notes
On entry to La Casa de La Fuente, two months rental is payable in advance.
There is an initial probationary period of 30 days for both parties, for which payment is non refundable.
Residents intending to leave La Casa de La Fuente are required to give one calendar month notice or rental in lieu thereof.
The Management at its absolute discretion reserves the right to refuse any application or to terminate the residency of any resident.
General Rules
We have compiled these simple guidelines because we want you to feel happy, comfortable and secure at La Casa de La Fuente.
The furnishings and facilities are for the use and enjoyment of all and must be treated with care.
The house, including the bedrooms, is a non-smoking environment. Smoking is only allowed in the patio.
Main meals will be eaten in the dining room or patio area, unless the resident is unwell and needs room service.
Residents will be free to receive visitors at any time though preferably not at meal times in order to avoid inconveniencing other residents.
Residents are required to observe civilized norms of hygiene.
Residents must refrain from behaviour which might inconvenience others (e.g. playing loud music late at night). If any unacceptable behaviour persists, the resident will receive a verbal warning followed by a written warning after which his/ her residency may be terminated.
Any concerns about the behaviour of other residents should be discreetly reported to the staff to prevent escalation of the problem.
Residents returning to the home after 23.00 are asked to enter quietly.
Monetary gratuities must not be given to staff.
Any resident intending to spend a night or more away from the home must inform the staff in advance and to leave a contact number.
In the event of hospitalization room rent must continue to be paid during the resident's absence.
Catering
A different choice of meals is offered daily.
Special dietary requirements are catered for.
Snacks, tea, coffee and a paid bar (residents only) are available.

Breakfast: 08.30-09.30
Lunch 13.00-14.00
Supper 18.00-20.00
Health
All residents must register with the local medical centre which is open 24x7. Transport is available for medical appointments dental visits and hospital appointments.
